Best Spafford show??

ok.. I'll be that guy to ask the ever controversial question.. LOL..
what's the BEST spafford show to date?
ive only listened to shows from 2017 so far.. which have been great imo..
and saw em (2) times in Feb '17..
so yes.. i am still a noob..
I am guessing the answers to this question will give me some great shows to listen to in the upcoming days/weeks.. -
I can say that my absolute go to, and the show I'd introduce people to is the Asbury Park show from 1/25/2017.

@damian The Remedy Jam from Asbury is so legit. Definitely one of my most listened to songs of the '17 shows so far

5/25/13 is pretty fantastic top to bottom.

10/30/15 - Phoenix, AZ
8/9/14 - Albuquerque, NM
9/6/15 - Boulder, COCall me biased because I was at all of these shows, but it is a known fact that Spafford plays better when I'm in attendance.. so yea.

not the best shows but two of my personal favorites are 10/28/16 and 10/29/16. Love a lot of what was happening in 2015 as well. Soundboards from 2012-2013 that Jordan did are some of the best sounding shows we have IMO

I wasn't even there but I'm tossing 9/29/16 @ Cranky Pat's in the mix for discussion. I'm thinking many people haven't heard the whole show. @damian was kind enough to update the setlist page with links to both sets now (albeit only a stream for set 2 but it's WELL worth the listen). Hopefully it officially gets released some day!

We should probably re-think this a little. For one, none of us have heard everyone Spafford show. Two, there are many shows there aren't recordings for. Three and most importantly, this band is evolving with the best arrows still in the quiver.
Maybe we should start a thread that breaks it down per year and basically will eventually highlight two shows from each year that best define it (there could be honorable mentions too, or specific jams that we also want to highlight). Off the top of my head:
2016 has many defining shows as they broke out of southwest, Cranky Pat's being the pinnacle of that tour imo, played NYC for the first time, played a 3 set show as their April Fool's joke, crushed their Halloween shows, so yeah, that's a whole 'nother discussion
2015 everyone mentions 9/6 and 10/30 (I tend to agree and have attendance bias because i was at them) and then every fan should listen to the cabin jams which aren't a show but the band showing off their improvisational prowess hidden away somewhere in, you guessed it, a cabin.
2014 i don't know anything about but I remember loving NYE
2013 wedding show is 1 of them (maybe NYE the other)
2012 02-25 is a wild ride

@RadiantDarkness definitely a good idea. I'd really love to get a voting system in place on the SpaffBase too.
I'm not sure though that this topic doesn't satisfy our need right now. We could update the title of the topic to be something a bit less definitive, ie: "What's your favorite Spafford show?"
