@damian I taped the Philly show and I'm debating the State College show if I can swing it. Separately, Rob Munroe and I were chatting after philly. I can help spread the word and get more folks out to shows. I know tapers all over the country, just need to make the time to communicate out a bit.

If someone wants to request a taper spot at a show. We have one available and I keep that information in a google sheet that I keep updated. For them to request the spot I need them to email me at spafford.archivist@gmail.com. That way the information can be passed on and they get informed if they are on the list. As I stated there is only one list spot available so I remove items that already have someone as the taper on the guest list for that show so I no longer get the requests for the spot on the list. This does not stop others from taping just from getting on the list. If there is a way I can manage a list here I can keep it up to date with taper sort available or not.
As for adding an I'm taping I like it. Good way for tapers to know other tapers going as well but that does not help with the guest spot.Grout

Los Angeles/Orangy County Area checking in.
I am planning on recording the Los Angeles Teragram Ballroom show. However, I also let Brian know in a detailed email that this venue is not taper friendly at all. I am working with the manager of Shaky Feelin' (Keith) who is also promoting the show under SpinCycle Presents to get me the OK to clamp mics up in the balcony which is also a roped off area.
New Years run to record is now/still up in the air. I do need a place to stay. Funds are extremley low. Any other tapers going that may want to split hotel room costs?
