Do S’nerds like Coffee?
-
Ok, so java is a morning ritual for me and has been for most of my adult life. As a young man I spent many years as a barista in several different specialty coffee houses. So, when I found out a coffee roaster was opening a shop in the small town next to me here in BFE New Hampshire I was over the moon with delight! Over the last year I’ve since befriended Troy Lucas and his family and have followed their journey and tried to support them as much as humanly possible. They have just opened their new cafe and I’m hoping to give them a little boost through their mail order website.

I’m not saying this because they are my friends, I truly mean it because I have a background in it...this guy roasts some of the best coffee I have ever swilled. So please, if so inclined, check out the Lucas Roasting Company website and perhaps grab a half pound of beans. Support a small business and family doing amazing things. Thank you for reading. I’d apologize for the shameless plug, but this is off topic discussion and I’m not ashamed or sorry. Just trying to promote a friend and put amazing coffee in the hands of my fellow S’nerds.
Have a wonderful day folks!

I drink more coffee than I would care to admit. I'll check this out. Thanks for the heads up.

@robAF Ritual Bean Drip? or if these roasters are talentedAF, perhaps Virtuoso Bean Drip?
-
Wish I could actually drink coffee.... stuff destroys my insides.

@Johnny-Love He did an Eithiopia roast that was aged in a bourbon barrel that had also aged an empiral stout...that was a Virtuoso Bean Drip.
French Pressed it was perfection. -
I prefer tea, ideally Irish Breakfast, but most black teas will do! haha

yes. love it. need it. been drinking it for over half my life at this point.
i get really bad heartburn though so only drink iced coffee as it has 60% less acidity than hot coffee, on top of just liking it more and living in az year round.
i use the japanese iced coffee brewing method which is basically just pour over with a few tweaks.
it is the cleanest tasting home made iced or cold brew coffee i've ever tried, and i've tried just about every product and method out there. very easy to adjust the strength as well.
