New Year's Run Discussion

12/29 completed. Funny, I couldn't find a weakness in set 2, and thought the beginning of set 1 was a little flubby, but I think I prefer 1 to 2. That 50+ minute stretch plus the new song put it over the top for me. Overall, an excellent show with a lot of highlights.
Songs added to the offline playlist for future relistens: LTLO, Plans, ATW, VDB.

I think the straight up highlight of the run was the Thieves from New Years. It's truly the stuff that dreams are made of.
Looking forward to this. Thieves is a top 3 song for me.

12/30:
Just from the setlist, I had a feeling that set 1 would be me least favorite of the run. Personally, Shake You Loose and Catfish John are towards the bottom of my song list, and one as the opener is not what I'm looking for. If those are choice songs for you, this may be a great set.
Standard Remedy for the most part, excellent My Road, good It's a Bunch.
Set 2 though, now we're cooking. Enjoyable cover, then the Backdoor Funk>All My Friends>Bee jam is where things take off. Walls is quite good, Lonely hits the spot, and then I'll take a Postman at every show, forever. Tuesday's Gone is another well done cover.

The second jam in ATW was a huge surprise to me at the show. 12/30 may be my favorite show, also happened to be my 25th bday.

@GeorgeBailey I actually like the Shake You Loose opener (which I caught at Brooklyn Bowl) because it's the right energy and tempo to loosen up the muscles for the dancing shit show coming down the pipes. Killer My Road (which has become one of my faves). Loved the transition from It's A Bunch > On Fire. And I'm 100% with you on The Postman which I'm still chasing. Do you hear me, Spafflords? I'm still chasing my Postman!!!!

@spacejam happy birthday!

Okay if you can pick a few jams from the 3 nights to listen to what would it be? Already listened to the My Road which was kick ass and little bits of the other shows. Gonna start my Spafford clense pre-lancaster/asbury but wanna get some of the good ones from the NYE run first
