Best Jams For Amusement Only Tour '18

As far as the Asbury show goes, the Hollywood>Dis Go In 5?>Breakdown sequence was probably the highlight, or weasel>funkadelic>weasel. the whole second set was fire

pawtucket reds jam is incredible. on my fifth listen already. thought cleveland would be untouchable for at least a little while but nah they had to break out a wicked big one for the paw sawx kid
Gives nod of approval. Multiple jam sections, 2-3 min segue into AMF... basically has all you could ask for in the #1 slot... build to rage->pop it->settle her down->slowly find your way into all my friends

-
@RadiantDarkness right around the 10-12 minute mark i've had to ask myself what i was listening to because i kept forgetting every time. if that's not the sign of a great jam i don't know what is.
-
Add the Mad World from Buffalo and the Lonely from Syracuse to your list! @Night-Train
-
Gotta throw Soul to Squeeze>Reprise from Asbury into this discussion
-
Already have the All In from 1/31 on repeat, I’ll throw that one in the hat. Red playing out his mind this tour.

2018-01-31 Fort Lauderdale, FL @ Culture Room
That Culture Jam -> BDF is out of control and the segue into BDF is sexy..havent made it through the rest of the show yet

asbury hollywood is what i remember most
will need to relisten as i was in and out most of the streamAfter relisten, I wouldn't put Asbury Hollywood on this list, per se. Great jam though!
I would definitely add Those Shoes>Walls! The From DC though!
The 8 minute segue is between them is worthy of discussion alone. Both jams rip. Great way to close out a set.
Also, no brainer to add the Jam>BDF from the Culture Room to must listen material.
-
It's already on the list, but just want to reiterate how good the 1/11 Thieves is. Already my favorite song, this version goes deep and hits hard.
-
@dontjudgedave the Culture Room show doesn't quit, it's monster, relentless, loved it --
-
@Cody hey mate, those were good shows, mad world has stuck with me too! Cheers!
-
@Cody yep, they're ok, lol
-
@Cody what he said,

Santa Barbara felt like a special show last night, but some of that could have been the intimacy. Reminded me of an undersold bar show from years ago. Good start to leg 2!
-
It's a Bunch really hits the feels. Kinda takes me to a place where death surrounds me so, only because I am so full of life. It's kinda balancing out the force. I'm feeling so alive so things around me perish under the weight of my vacuum of intelligence. Something like that.
Then the segue into Lonely has Brian giving us a few extra measures of pippity pop while the rest of the band is probably smiling gracefully watching a master make everyone patiently wait for his arrival.
Lonely might be my favorite spafford song. I have only seen it 1 out of every 8 shows and a few of them were before they started extending it. Brian remains playful in the jam. His fingers just don't fucking stop. The rest of the band shift tempo ever so slightly and it helps Brian shift from delicacy into more fiery dance. It keeps building and building with Mr Moss leaving our faces in shambles while the other guys keep the foundation firm. You can hear everyone else playing Lonely and finally Brian gives in and we have the end verse of Lonely to settle our hearts just a little.
