What to say about the Spaffy NYE run..... Our home was filed with Love and friends, music and excitement for the shows the night before the run at our Gathering of the Nerds. We had friends stay over the entire weekend, it was perfect happiness in every way. New friends and old, two killer shows. Thank you everyone, what a way to bring in the new year showered with love and joy. The energy, the love, it's how I know that even though this big old universe can throw crap our way that this band, this group of people, always there to heal, comfort and show me what really matters. The highlight for me was that N1 Georgie, Ray, Dan and I left these super meaningful yellow wristbands we were wearing on the stage, kinda like we did last year with FC Bee that Darby made. And on N2 one of those bright yellow wristbands was on Brian's wrist. And then at the end of the show, Brian gave Dan his pick, the look on Brian's face, I hope, was him knowing how much that meant to my dude. I thought NYE last year was top of the tops, this year sure served up that and even more. If we can't choose the destination, we might as well drive. SPAFFY NEW YEAR everyone! love and light.
@allmyphriends your home was so warm and welcoming to all who came. Thanks for throwing a rager and bringing the nerds together. That's literally what this whole thing is about. Well done.

@damian Spent evening at home with my children while the wife worked. Zonked out about. Followed Spafford and Phish setlist on Twitter when babies woke up throughout the night.

New Year’s Eve was spent at an indoor pool midnight balloon drop with my two boys (5 and 12). And updates from my brother whom was in Phoenix at Spafford. When I started listening on the way home (thanks GROUT-RECORDINGS) I couldn’t believe the dark, spacey goodness of The Other One I was hearing -> into Aliens.

I was raging titties in ATL w Umphreys. After listening to the other one - I wish I could’ve been in two places at once!

I spent my NYE with my girlfriend and a group of my best friends in Pittsburgh with Pigeons Playing Ping Pong. Had a great time, but wish I could have heard The Other One and Whipping Post!

Candy Flips, need I say more.. also wet and/or missing Underoos from the BeeJam>Weasel>Palisades>Weasel, Plans. That's about all I have to say about that. Now don't add me in the drawing @damian, because I already have a script..

@damian Spent the New Year with Spafford live on the 30th and 31st dancing with my two best friends, my wife Elizabeth and our best bud Joel, the whole way home to the hotel room to wind down streaming Phish.....the CID package was magical!!! Loving this band more and more overtime we see them, LOVE dancing with their SPAFFNERD fans!!!!!
See you all in Portland and Eugene 3/17, my 50th birthday show...come dance with a leprechaun!

My new years was spent with Widespread Motherfucking Panic. First waker since red rocks 02!!!

We were lucky to be in AZ visiting family and friends for the holidays. My wife and I were able to hit up the 30th show at the Vanburen (where my license still rests) and reunite with many of our friends from our time living in Prescott! On the 31st we flew home to ring in the new year with the String Cheese Incident. I’m looking forward for the upcoming CO Spafford shows! See you Nerds in Frisco!
