Spafford Original: Beautiful Day - Best Performances

It's tough to pick a favorite version of Beautiful Day because it's a song so that relies so heavily on Red's delivery. What I'm saying is that they're all so good.

If I had to select one for my favorite I go with the performance from The Miramar on 2017-04-06. Brian's early solo, is so soft and tender and Red's reference to the Mungion Tee is good for a laugh.

Also worth checking out is the 2015-08-14 Prankster's Too version. It was played on an acoustic piano at the back of the venue. The recording on Archive doesn't have any audio but there's a youtube video that captures the moment pretty well. Check it out.

@Frito-Pie, that's the bonus Beautiful Day. If I remember Spafford got a bonus 15 minutes because... you know... the crowd came to see them even though they were opening for Um. They filled it with a beautiful Beautiful Day.

@damian Yup, and they came out to a roaring ovation before they even played a note. It was beautiful. Excuse me I have something in my eye..
