What would you want to hear Spafford cover?
-
Spafford has performed a pretty unique collection of covers in their history, ranging from Men at Work to John Hiatt to Scissor Sisters. With that being said, if you could pick any song for the band to cover, what would it be?
My first choice would probably be something by the Talking Heads, maybe Houses in Motion or Moon Rocks.

@myanruth
CCR- I heard it through the grapevine.
Would like to hear Brian's take on this solo.Going to a Herbie Hancock tribute this weekend, so let's hear a Rockit also. Gotta show Red some love. Jordan on the 1s and 2s!
But like you said, they're selection and execution of covers is second to none. Anything they cover sounds great.

@ke11en_it lol Rockit would be awesome. I definitely agree with your CCR call, that would be pretty cool to hear. I heard this song on the radio the other day, and they keys player reminded me of Red, I think it would be pretty cool to hear the band's take on it.

@myanruth that's some sweet blues funk, love it. Out of the covers they've already done, I want to see stuck in the middle most. They take it to another level every time! Maybe I'll catch it during fall tour if I'm lucky.

@ke11en_it I would love to see STIM this fall tour. I've seen them do some pretty solid covers, but my favorite that I've personally seen was when they did Take Your Mama at the 8x10 this past February.
-
@myanruth love that one too, can't help but sing a long. I'm so ready for September!
-
@ke11en_it yep it's gonna be a good time. What's shows are you hitting?
-
@myanruth probably just the Colorado shows. How about yourself?
-
@ke11en_it gotcha, as of now I am doing the Phish after show next weekend, and then the Charlottesville, Baltimore, Philly and State College shows. But that may be subject to change, hopefully not.

@myanruth very nice, looking forward post Phish show reviews, have fun!
