2017-09-28 version of Mind's Unchained should be listed imo.
I like the idea of someone cosigning each suggestion. If we're looking at this list over the long haul and want the best of the best, then it's seems like a good idea to have at least two people agree that it's a "Best version". Or I can just add every suggestion that is made. Y'all let me know.

@GeorgeBailey I think a second opinion is best to keep the list good. AND that will make it fun because now we have to go listen to @Frito-Pie's recommendations to be sure! (Although I trust his judgement) Lol
-
@myanruth I love it
-
Postman : 3/12/15
-
@Lopez looks like a sick show! no recordings linked to the base, do you know of any??
-
@Johnny-Love The Postman, Galisteo, and Leave the Light On > All In are available on SoundCloud.

https://soundcloud.com/spafford/leave-the-light-on-all-in-31215-lazy-dog-boulder-coThe Galisteo and Postman from that show are what made me fall in love with this band.

@Lopez thx!!

@Lopez March 2015 is still one of my favorite months in Spafford history.
3/8 Flagstaff show
Colorado run, including this stuff
Vegas aftershows
MMMF main stage -
@Frito-Pie not sure if I've listened to that Flagstaff show, I know the rest I have. March 2015 and just 2015 is a great period in the band's history.
I know what I'm going to try to dig into this afternoon if I've got some time...

@GeorgeBailey
I'm not nearly obsessed enough to list best versions of songs (I don't know how you Nerds do it!), but I think the idea of a song needing at least two recommendations is a good one. So many shows and so many Nerds! This'll just be a random list if there's not some consensus.
And I want the fire! -

And I want the fire!I agree, seems like the best way to go. I'm not going to go back and take off the ones that I had already posted unless anyone makes a case against one of them. Right now we have the following suggested:
Weasel>Palisades: 5/24/14 (although this would need to be voted on for both songs).
On Fire: 3/8/15
Windmill: 9/6/15
Postman: 3/12/15So just to make this thread simple and not pages and pages of confusion, if you're nominating a song just put the song, date, and link in your post like Frito Pie and Lopez did. And if you're cosigning, just quote the song and put cosign like Cody did.

Ain't That Wrong - 10/8/17

The 5/24/14 Weasel > Palisades has my vote for sure.
Some of the bands finest work of all time IMO.
-
@Lopez what do you think Nerds?

We definitely do. Here's a link to the same show in the spaffbase:

(Yes, the date is wrong on the Archive show) -
Good recommendation on a Legend? Listening to the Asbury show and am remembering that I really dig it and havent really searched out other versions
Also, Ive listened to all of Asbury so many times but finally heard between Legend and Eyes the dude that was standing not too far from me yelling "Play Margaritaville! I love that song!" ...forgot about that

@dontjudgedave Probably not in the "best of" category, but I've always loved this one:
