I know I'm a noob to the board, so forgive me in advance por favor, but are there any sendspace or mediafire links to these wondrous jams? Thanks!

@lawnboymsg here's the ain't that wrong I mentioned
Listen to Ain't That Wrong (2/2/13 Green Room - Flagstaff, AZ) by Spafford #np on #SoundCloud

If you go to the show page for the jam you want to hear theres usually a link to the archive.org tape of the show. Most of us have been linking to the show page when we post as well to make things easier. Theres links to the nugs/youtube recordings there as well when available

@RadiantDarkness I'll second Aeroplane and People because I just listened to them for the second time and they rock, not at Soil yet but I'm sure I'll agree with that too
Aeroplane and People have been added. Also, the NYE version of My Road and Memphis in the Meantime from 1/19/18.
Current recs that have been suggested and need a cosign:
Electric Taco Stand - 3/9/18
Lonely - 1/19/18
My Road - 1/23/18, 10/23/17One last thing. If someone has rec'd just one song, then an upvote is fine. But if they have multiple songs in their post, reply to that person and confirm which songs you are cosigning, otherwise this gets really confusing.

Recommendation: 3/8/18 Bee jam
-
@GeorgeBailey Fuck yea I cosign the Bellingham Bee Jam. That song can have my SS#, my paycheck, my first-born.. you name it

01-27 Atl - > The Reprise
2015-03-14 Denver: Galisteo Way (squishing pi jam)
2016-05-06 Flagstaff: Ain't That Wrong -
Seriously if you haven't listened to the 2/2/13 Ain't That Wrong you are doing yourself a disservice.
-
@GeorgeBailey I'll cosign the 3/16/18 Soil.
-
Super attendance bias here, but that My Road (My Road) from 3/14/18 at belly up, aspen was amazing
Also, 2/12/17 Palisades... this one goes a different direction than usual at the end that i really like. Kinda bluesy. Im not even sure if the last 5 min are even Palisades but who knows haha prob them just jamming

Great rec, awesome version. This is the reason for this thread!

@GeorgeBailey I don't wanna say I told you so but.....

if there's a better jam out there than the 3/5/18 VBD, I want to hear it. That jam man, from 33 minutes on, holy shit

My slip and squander votes go to:
-Leading into NYE, brian gives some extra mustard on the build: https://spaffnerds.com/shows/2015-12-31
-Guest sit-in, Rick from Goose, gives this version a step above most: https://spaffnerds.com/shows/2018-01-20@RadiantDarkness said in Outstanding versions of songs:
ETS needs work. I'll listen through some early ones and suggest one.
10/30/15 definitely worthy for it being an atypical jam for ETS. Things got weird.
Listened to most ETS versions from 2012+2013 (to separate out Alternate Ending in the setlists) and I wasn't WOW'd by any of them. 10/30/15 still reigns supreme.

@RadiantDarkness a definite on that Slip and Squander with Rick from Goose, I really enjoy that one.

I would like to recommend Soil from 3/14/18.
my case ; ) :
around the 2 min mark, the keys get super nasty funky
3:30 guitar tone starts getting fatter
jam breaks for a second around 4:10
then we really start heading to the promise land
4:34 the guitar riff i love kicks in. very simple repeating, dark tone
4:40 keys go full blown 80s dead funk like feel like a stranger
then they really start to create within that simple structure they just laid down
solid foundation to funk on top off, keys really starts adding flare
this lasts till 6:20 mark at which point they switch to cruise control and rage out the rest of the song in typical spafford fashion -
@fluffhead How could anyone disagree with this well thought out explanation? Added!

@GeorgeBailey highly recommend you give this version a spin
