Teases. Teases? Teases!

Anyone hearing a little bit of the Allman's Blue Sky towards the end of the first jam? Maybe not enough to call it a tease but some similarities
-
I hear Eyes Of The World teases from Red in Windmill from 1/31/18. Listen around the 3 minute mark. but it takes some more form around 5:30.

Definitely hear it in there. Kinda sounds like Brian was close and Red picked it up and made it more pronounced and Brian gets close yo the melody line of "right outside this lazy dimmer home" ..jam keeps an almost eyes like feel for a lot of it. Not quite it, but like dancing around it.
What a fucking Windmill, second jam is sick too

I don't know if I'd consider it a tease because I'm not sure if they actually played the chords or whatnot, but I definitely heard an eyes themed jam in that Windmill. I also heard it picked up later in the show but I can't recall which song. The whole show had that nice blissful feel to it!

2012-07-04 @ 10:13 during Walls (Brian) sounds a lot like a Thunderstruck tease.
-
I haven't added any of the other teases because I'm not familiar enough with the original to even know what to look for. Hopefully someone else eventually backs you up!
Anywho, 3/5 It's a Bunch has a pretty distinct Streets of Cairo tease that starts with just Brian and then the other guys jump on for a quick measure. 24:05 to 24:23 on the nugs soundboard
-
@RadiantDarkness Iiiiinnnnnnteresting...
-
Theres a section of the 3/5 VBD towards the beginning (first 10-15min) that sounds like theyre dancing around the Space Gadget theme, well at least the Inspector Gadget theme. Not quite a tease, seems like they kept hitting it and trying to get away but it popped up a bunch for a minute or two before they can move away from it

3/7 Walls - 10:47 to 11:18 (nugs sbd) --> pretty sure brian is teasing something. made for wesley?
-
@RadiantDarkness just heard this on first listen. Definitely sounds like Wesley.
-
@RadiantDarkness this is almost enough to be noted as a full song imo.
-
Last night Memphis in the Meantime had in the front, including myself, thinking they were about to play Possum or Back on the Train ... so dope
-
I love & appreciate all the precise work and added notes you all are adding to the setlist and show notes areas. As an old 80's Head I used to be the same on the road jotting down how many and where Jer / Trey would poke in their solos and variations,as well as lyric changes.
Much appreesh,Much love.

@RadiantDarkness check out the Phonebooth from Raleigh. At 10:02 on the nugs track Brian plays a Walls-like lick and Red follows along. It's not quite Walls... but...
-
@RadiantDarkness First, thanks for taking on this daunting task! Second, have you considered adding show notes to the set lists when songs are covers, and noting the original artists?

The info is in the system, it's just not shown. But the question of showing it is one for @damian

The Old Town Jam from Steamboat Sprigns, 3/15/18.
Around 38:00 they begin playing a theme that sounds just like Peter Gabriel's "Solsbury Hill". They jam on this theme for a couple of minutes. -

Oh man... this is always a tough one. I'm personally inclined NOT to state that it's a cover each time it is played, but I could easily be outvoted if the community wanted to see it that way. I could even imagine putting a personalization option in to support YOU deciding that you wanted it that way or not.
With that said, I'd really like to add more info on the setlist page. I'd like the show's notes to be there and I'd love to get it to the point where mousing over a song got you more info about it. But we've got bigger, more fundamental parts of the system that we need to finish shoring up.
I keep saying, "Bear with me..." when people make feature requests. There are a bunch of guys in the inner circle that know how much I work on this and know how passionate I am about getting it right. I promise you that the site is under serious active development and new features are coming. All I can ask is that you are patient and understanding. Pretty much everything you see on the spaffbase was built by me, working in my 'free' time. The forum is an off the shelf product but the rest is custom built.
