These guys jam like no one I've ever heard. no wasted notes, no jams to nowhere, just PURE FIRE!!!! my wife turned to me at the show earlier this month and said, this is the first jam I've ever liked, referring to the 10+ years of jams I've subjected her to:)

I wonder how big the crowd was, what the venue was like, and if we're getting a review for this one? I'm sure there were lots of people getting a great first taste of Spafford!

@PhillySpaffnerd funny, I had a similar thing happen with my wife. She walked in while I was listening to Cabin Jam, and was like “who is this? I really like it”

@ThinkBig thats awesome, dude it made me so happy, we've been diverging for a few years now, musically. Let it be known, Chicks dig Spafford too! Just such a fresh, different sound. Shoot, it hurts to say it, but after 20yrs i'm almost like F%#& phish (i'm not, but you get the point)

This jam really is astounding me. I can’t get over how focused it is. I wouldn’t be surprised if a couple new tunes come up out of it. So many themes to build upon.

It's their newest official offering that came out in early August. It's an hour long improv practice session that was so good that they released it!

Holy shit! I just got finished with listening to this set. It's the shit! It reminds me of the surprise that is the pizza jam. Out of the blue there's just this BEAST of a jam. These guys are living it. It's in the moment, it's the now... it's cool as a cucumber.
Go listen to this thing and cross your fingers and hope it gets a nugs release

I love me some Pizza Jam and that whole show is a gem, but this set-- after one listen-- is on yet another level for me... not because of the length but the soundscapes... OMfG
if this was the last piece of music i heard i would die grinning
