@robAF Great review, i broke the 2-hr spafford rule... Firefly was the first time they ever came to the east coast, way back in '12, wasnt it? What a whack festival, i was hoping i could get my wife in for Saturday, as her fav band is the Killers. But it was a tough sell at >$100 for a day pass!
where in DE you at? i live in west chester, but work in Wilmington on Augustine cut-off rd. We should grab some brews some time. If not i'm sure i'll bump into you at ardmore soon
Bobby
Kind of a week "tour" what do you guys think? I guess I'm bummed they're not coming up to the NE much this run. NYC and thats it...
And my wife is due that week too, so i'm screwed on this run:(
Element fest... That. Freaking. Venue! And they have tons of packages so u don't have to hall camping gear across north America. Maybe next summer if they're back up at element I may make the push to take the whole fam.
This year's tough I gotta try to fly under the radar and stick to mostly local shows (I.e. shows not requiring 2-3 days of check-the-F-out-from-family time and a room)
Sidenote: God damn I loved all our sub 15$ shows I feel like we really got away with murder. I'm screwed on the spafford front though, thank God for couch tour. I may be asking the boss-man for a hall pass for peach, that lineup is baller
Not complaint, but daytime sets and rigid time slots blow for the boys. Don't get me wrong, I'll take anything I can get for a fresh Spaff fix. But summer used to be music season, and the last few years I loathe it and yearn for fall/winter, when they tear through every tiny venue In a Town near you leaving only four alarm blazes and hundreds of new nerds in their wake
#LetSpaffordJam #thanksBrownie. 15 glorious extra minutes, much appreciated
@Frito-Pie just requested to join, not sure why it took me this long. Got a bunch of shows coming up in April so it'll be great timing to spread the good word
@dontjudgedave @Cody This one holds a special place in my heart guys, this Charlottesville show was the first show i ever downloaded and listened to end to end. I loaded it up boarding a plane to Jackson, WY, and proceeded to cruise around town all week with that on repeat with snow dumping. and epic conditions Been hooked every since, and i'll never forget charging through the glades with Bunch blaring turned up to 11!
Moments like that are what life's all about
@RadiantDarkness Can't wait to catch that one! Liking the fact that these 40-50+ min jams are becoming more and more common.
Sidenote: Have they all happened on weeknights? If so, time to quit my job and switch to working weekends!
@damian @Spidergawd after the Terminal West show in January it's no wonder. Although i do think there is a little extra demand than a normal weekend in ATL since its THE after party at 420 (Kinda like BB kings show for the Phish after party). While it'll be nice to graduate to better sounding venues and higher pay days for the fellas, i'm going to miss the 15$ tix and guaranteed rail spots...
@kfox527 yeah Ben Factor is killing it, designs everything on a comp now before even heading into a venue. Added tons of new stuff in 18, Dude has a vision and I'm on board!

@damian yeah everyone got a much needed 3 or 4 day break. JP needs a few nights off too haha
