@jeenot Thanks for the review. I was unable to catch ANY NW tour because I just moved to PHX, those fucks!
Well, I'd like to address your line of questioning about placement or meaning or "Hard Way" as an opener. As the last couple of days have shown us, the band is going through some challenging times. I believe it all is for the right reasons, and I am happy to have Nick return, esp since I never saw a live show with him at the kit.
Here's to 3.0 and whatever it may bring. More Killin it!
@Uncle-Ron So Thursday night in Ft. Lauderdale, Salamander was the encore. It was super groovy, but I think I noticed something new. In the usual, wrong "hey" place, lots of peeps let loose with a "woo"! So the flow was ba dam bampa da bamp "woo", ba dam bampa da bamp "hey", which was actually kinda cool. Can't really hear it on nugs, but in the room it was loud. HEY!
The vibe in that place was special. A bar show on Wednesday night in Buffalo....and it was the best rock show that happened that evening anywhere. Their performances are consistently spectacular and this one is just a great show from start to finish.
Great review my dood! Can’t wait to do it again.
@NicholasMakaveli SO sorry to hear that, Nick! Yeah I was PISSED, if you couldn't tell. And the worst part was that they were just so LAZY! Anyway, onward and upward. Looking forward to hearing about your first real Spaff experience!!
@mdjabber HAHAHAHAHA! I don't personally view it as that, but I know those that do, hence why I say that. But I get it. To be honest, I haven't come across a Spafford song, cover or original, that makes me think, "I could use the bathroom now."
In my defense, what are the chances of the same make and model vehicle arriving on the same corner at the same time? Sad as those balloons may have been, I challenge anyone to wrangle three giggle heads off the streets of Wooklyn in my condition and be successful on the first attempt. That said, great review my man...and yes, I blew it. LOL
The recording does no justice to the way their whistles sounded in that hall. It wasn’t a long show but the playing was exquisite throughout and they moved the crowd through bliss and filth and untz with a deft touch
