This thread is to create a definitive list of outstanding versions of each song.

In order to get a song on the list, reply to the thread with a suggestion, and if another poster upvotes it, it will be added.

If there are multiple songs in a post, reply to the post and state which song(s) you are upvoting.

Once I've added a suggestion to the list, I'll upvote your post as well to let you know it's on there. If your post has upvotes but I haven't added it, it's because there are multiple songs/versions in your post and no one has replied to indicate which one they're upvoting.

BM: Oh man, it takes years and years for it to work. And I’m still working on it every day. That started many years ago – you can get a lot more out of one note, one sustained note, in the right place at the right time than you can with too many.

Just thought it'd be fun to get something new going on around here and also have everyone listening to the same thing at the same time...so how about a show of the month thread open for discussion?

Should also be a cool way to find new favorite shows that you might not find otherwise, and as people continue to join the site, it gives them a way to jump right in.

I picked 8/9/2014 for August, mainly because the 26 minute LTLO is on the outstanding versions of songs list and also you can't go wrong with a Midnight Rider cover.

So give it a listen and a review!

Its a Bunch, Minds Unchained, and My Road all seem like classics now that they've gotten so much play. Love each one.

Of the most recent stuff, really enjoying what they're doing with Soil, and Radio is a very well written song.

Down Under from 1/19 is pretty amazing.

I like the idea of someone cosigning each suggestion. If we're looking at this list over the long haul and want the best of the best, then it's seems like a good idea to have at least two people agree that it's a "Best version". Or I can just add every suggestion that is made. Y'all let me know.
