it's my understanding that the band's homie Chuck (who also does their lighting!) writes poetry that often becomes spafford lyrics! Chuck is also who the band is named after i think! It's his middle name ("Spafford" that is).

i'm a huge disney fan, and i fucking love the lion king. playing the lion sleep tonight, and encoring with hakuna matata? holy shit. and the bare necessities with red as a panda? dude. this is one helluva halloween set for me. and the poster! wow. well done Spafford.
