Can anyone shed light on why Spafford changed drummers a little over a year ago? I thought it would be on their wikipedia page but I'm wrong. Who was this mysterious man and where did he go?

I think they have done a big upgrade on their lights for this tour. More impressive this week then when I saw them in November.

@kfox527 Also, it is totally worth investing in a good pair. I forgot mine at North Coast and had to use a pair of foamies from the med tent. It was far too muffled to be enjoyable.

Stage Set Switchposted in Spafford Discussion
I saw Spafford in LA last Friday for the third time. It was AMAZING! The best show by far and really knocked my socks off (so much better than their last visit to LA where they may have been sabotaged by the Umphreys sound guy). Anyway, when I saw them at North Coast Festival in September I'm pretty sure the Drums were on observers left and the keys on observers right. At the Teragram last weekend they were switched. Can anyone shed light on when or why this happened?

Earplugs are so key for shows especially at smaller venues where the sound can be so loud. The chomper filter may be the best feature!
