@kfox527 Hear ye!! I'm moving back to LA February 1. Perfect timing to make the 90 minute drive!

@Cody I looked back through photos from 2013-2016 and almost all that I could find had Nick in the back somewhere (but still always close to Brian). Looks like probably the first one I saw with them lined up in a row was at a private gig on 4/20/16. I haven't found any shots with Jordan in between Brian and the drums, but I didn't see too many from that tour and it wouldn't surprise me if they tried some things.

These are the ones I have. They're good though I have to say that sometimes I wish I had a bit more protection. But... They don't muffle the sound and they're certainly better than nothing.

You're right though they def have their own twist/sound. I described them the other day as kinda a jam band with an edge as I put on ATW from Brooklyn bowl, which has a harder, almost metal like track from Brian.

The many facets of Spafford is def one of their selling points... i think they do a better job than most of switching genres.. a lot of time that sounds like musical tourism but Spaff convinces me whatever sound they are in

BK Bowl ^ was the one full show I caught this Fall Tour and I am a HUGE fan of that ATW... I remember the shredding that I think you are talking about (and it was all that and then some) but my favorite part of the whole sick sandwich is the super joyful jam that breaks out a little after 6minutes... i struggle to find the words to adequately describe what it does to me... there have been so many amazing moments on this tour (and many "better" jams) but the joy they conjure in this section to me is second-to-none, is 9th Symphony Ode to Joy worthy, feels like a temporary enlightenment... it is also entirely possible that I am a punch-drunk biased because the show lifted off for me at this point and hasn't dropped me back yet 🙂

They asked for no streaming for the BD after party because MK Devo was filming the whole show.

It seems like the only times they ask not to stream are for good reasons. We should most definitely be respecting that.

First time posting here! I attended the Ogden and Globe hall. Missed Aggie. I have listened to all of them though and would rank them as follows:

1 - Globe hall - The acoustic set, combined with a 1 song jam second set, then a fire third set was close to impossible to beat.

2 - Aggie - Hard to beat the set and the energy - would have liked to see more jamming

3 - Ogden - The first set was one of my favorite sets of the weekend. Second set (because of the guests) got a bit songy and lacked on improv a bit. The fact that this was the "worst" of the shows speaks wonders for this band.

@RadiantDarkness I actually didn't realize you guys did that...in THAT case, no need to label as such. I was going off of what I previously saw on setlists, but if you ditched that, so be it. Thanks!
