Great idea fellas!

This has been the longest I’ve gone without a Spafford show since I started seeing the band. It’ll be almost 7 months exactly by the time February rolls around. Chapel Jam might just sustain me until then.
That news put a huge smile on my face today!

@GeorgeBailey I’m beyond biased, but the IAB from 7/7/19 is top notch stuff as well. Maybe just in my mind, but that show was really special.

Setlist from last night looks interesting. I haven’t listened to the stream yet. In the interview Brian just did with The SoundPodcast he mentioned they’ve got all their equipment with them so I imagine the boards will go up quickly.

I don’t have any official info, but this is my observational reply...the Summer Vacation Tour is aptly named. Most or all of the guys seem to be fitting in some family/downtime in between shows, and the tour itself is very laid back. Between enjoying the downtime and being on the move/relying on shaky WiFi...I think it’s just not a priority at the moment. Let’s give the guys a chance to enjoy playing together, recharge the batteries and take the time to process the shows and give us the best quality recordings possible.
I know not everyone enjoys aud recordings, but the tapers are out there and have been trying to fill the gaps for now. We’ve been pretty spoiled in the past with the quick releases, but it will be worth the wait. Hang in there!

Had a great time with my friends out on Winter Tour. Buffalo was a great town and a killer show...probably my favorite of the ones I saw.

It’s tough to compare. Two musicians at completely different stages of their careers. I love both of them and the comparisons can actually be an interesting conversation but to put them against each other in the same 3 year period gives me that sharp brain pain. The amount of material that Trey has written and released in that time frame is mind boggling. The virtuosity Brian has shown during the same time is incredible. Both are Jedi. One is a master, and the other is a knight who is doing great work using the Force.
Love them both and feel blessed to be here to listen and see them do their thing.

To add to @Frito-Pie suggestion...those early recordings you find via the media player are mostly Jordan’s recordings that he mixed himself. Lots and lots of excellent sounding sbd’s to get you grooving on their growing sound and chemistry.

@JDCollins Definitely. There will be two sets of Spafford each night.

The vibe in that place was special. A bar show on Wednesday night in Buffalo....and it was the best rock show that happened that evening anywhere. Their performances are consistently spectacular and this one is just a great show from start to finish.
Great review my dood! Can’t wait to do it again.
