ALL is phenomenal. Wrote awhile ago about people who had soundcheck recordings during the Fall 2019 tour. I know it was a thing because I was at the 8x10 and have the recording of the 2nd nights sound check. It's great! Would be happy to find a way to trade or dropbox other soundcheck jams. I can't imagine I have the only gem.... Best ETS!

@jeenot nice 😄 yes, I'd say it started with 20 people and by the end maybe 40-50 lol. what an absolute funkenfest each song turned into. very intimate place and the great 'za right outside after is way above average.
that show will find my X5 or stereo every couple of weeks without a doubt.

Well, I'd like to address your line of questioning about placement or meaning or "Hard Way" as an opener. As the last couple of days have shown us, the band is going through some challenging times. I believe it all is for the right reasons, and I am happy to have Nick return, esp since I never saw a live show with him at the kit.

Here's to 3.0 and whatever it may bring. More Killin it!

Yeah, I really like the way they arrange some of their covers and Midnight Rider is a little more reggae funk than Longview.

If anything I think Longview kinda starts out like a slowed down Aint' Wasting Time No More.

And watch anything they stream. High viewer counts will convince more and bigger clubs to book them.

@jeenot - killer review, my man! "Malevolent Metal and Noodly Jazz" may be the best phrase I've ever heard summing up why I love this g-d band.

I frickin love Spafford unplugged. They sound so good on wood and it’s captivating to watch them use their musical skills and expressiveness to work around the absence of effects. This Delaney > Plans is top tier Spaff ... Ima keep liStening for a while

I haven't had the chance to put Tulsa on yet but I might have to at your suggestion. The short sets are always rough for me. I feel like the time constraints really limit what the band can do. It's like "A Taste Of Spafford" instead of "SPAFFORD!"

But that doesn't mean there aren't gems in there. 🙂

great review man! I miss that area. I lived in a little place called La Pine in the mid 90's as I evaded the Kamloops BC troupers looking to talk to me. Some of the nicest people ever and the kindest sativa I had ever smoked up to that point. I lived with a logger who enjoyed touring so thats what we did. Chillin' out at Nursery Park. Anyway, just got that Bend show and very much looking forward to hearing it. peace & nugs.

Took 2 minutes of holding my finger up like a hippie to get an extra. Killer show in SLC. The band was obviously tired from 5 straight days of long drives on mountain roads – for the first time I actually heard them make song structure mistakes – but they still crushed it. Amazing Red's > ETS sequence to open the show and killer energy in the second set.
