Hey now. I've been looking all over for CDs by the band. There's not even anything on Discogs used.
If anyone knows a spot where I can buy in CD format please lmk if you kindly would.
Much appreciated,
Mike

RE: Best Jams For Amusement Only Tour '18
Raleigh - 01-26
Bee Jam > Electric Taco Stand !
BdF especially @ 11:02 onwards. -
RE: Listen Now: Spafford Easter Basket
I really think 01-26 Raleigh needs more attention. with that amazing BJ ~> ETS alone! Also a dynamite BdF to end set I. I truly put that show up in the 10 of the year without a doubt.
But that ETS is one hell of a version. -

RE: Best Jams For Amusement Only Tour '18
For those of you on APL and RED I started a collage on each site with the "essential Spafford Shows from Nugs.Net" from the discussions here at Spaffnerds and Facebook sites.
I'll be keeping an eye here to see what all around/A to Z dynamite shows you guys are raving about so I can add to the lists along the way,so thank you very much.
I added 3-15 almost on the opening jam alone but the rest of the show is on a very high level as well...so it's a winner.
peace. -
RE: Best Jams For Amusement Only Tour '18
the VBD from the SoHo on March 1 is especially excellent and I think the 2nd set from the Feb 28 show in Solana Beach is one of the best of the year so far, very heartfelt. That Bee jam inside All My Friends and Postman is heavenly; a perfect Light ends the show in style.

RE: Review - 2018-03-07 - The Volcanic Theater & Pub - Bend, OR
great review man! I miss that area. I lived in a little place called La Pine in the mid 90's as I evaded the Kamloops BC troupers looking to talk to me. Some of the nicest people ever and the kindest sativa I had ever smoked up to that point. I lived with a logger who enjoyed touring so thats what we did. Chillin' out at Nursery Park. Anyway, just got that Bend show and very much looking forward to hearing it. peace & nugs.

RE: NUGS Must Listen Shows - Best of Spafford on Nugs
I am 3/4 done the 2017-02-12 Charlottesville show that a lot of you rave about and I'm blown away. It's definitely a 5 star nug. That Postman sammy is incredible. People don't understand why I have invested $11 000 in an audio/video system yet drive a 2001 Subaru with bad brakes but you guys might

awesome input people. ty
ps- did you guys notice that some of the Jan / Feb shows from nugs do not sound the best? Seems digi-noised and a little hollow. If this was discussed, appologies, and lmk where that chat is.
We've definitely talked about it on Facebook but I dont think here. Overall, I am definitely let down by the nugs soundboards - I've got the subscription so its great to be able to hear them so quick now but I think some of them the mix is a bit off and almost all of them are very quiet with some worse than others - that Crystal Bay 3/5/18 show being a good example, very quiet and bass gets kind of lost in the mix.
I think it started in the Fall last year, I am not sure what changed - my Asbury 2017 download sounds great - good mix, good volume, and I'm pretty sure it was available 2-3 days after the show. Compared to the SBD from Asbury 2018 its crazy - volume drops and the mix gets muddy, vocals can be a little low too. Im still pumped to get the releases but would love them getting a little better treatment even if it means we need to wait longer to get them
I thought so...its pretty apparent. I too have every Nugs release in 24bit and it sounds like their board is not set right. Thank God for quality EQs and well made amps and pre-amps for they helped out a bit.

RE: Teases. Teases? Teases!
I love & appreciate all the precise work and added notes you all are adding to the setlist and show notes areas. As an old 80's Head I used to be the same on the road jotting down how many and where Jer / Trey would poke in their solos and variations,as well as lyric changes.
Much appreesh,Much love.

RE: Calling Tapers
I will be definitely taping be taping the entire Element Music Fest in BC this summer even though nugs will have the boards for Spaff and Lotus. I taped last year. This festival ,site, camping, weather ,music and staff is one of the best festivals I have ever attended. Especially for you Americans where your US dollar = $1.20 Canadian!
It's nice to have a different perspective too with a crowd recording + I'll be taping all the late night jams, parking lot jams etc... last year Nershi/Kang/Bobby Vega/Oteil & Roosevelt played some bluegrass on the side lots for over an hour at sunrise! I have it all on tape but the Cheese and Kimock camps erased them and I'm not permitted to put online. anyhoo, it was pretty damn cool.be well

Cool bananas! Nice story. It's great to receive those unexpected musical introductions. I'll give him a listen. Take care.

RE: What's everyone listening to?
Sept.30 - 2017 - Brooklyn Bowl
One of my favorite's from this year. The ETS is worth it all by itself with its cool little ending there but also the Ain't That Wrong jam through On Fire is great as well. A tremendous night in a sweltering sauna that is the Bowl. Would love a whole tour of Space Bacon opening for them. That's a tour I would A to Z, even in my old age -
RE: Lets talk about these Improv sets!
@Joe-Logrippo said in Lets talk about these Improv sets!:
@dontjudgedave It would be excellent. Let's hope for this and tapers to capture them!
I'm taping the 2 NY state shows in Jan and will do my best to get cozy and set up early to get the sndchqs. I successfully got the Albany one last Jan. opening for UM. It was only 30+ mins. Very spacey reggae from what I remember. I still haven't put that up yet.
Huge fan of soundchecks too

RE: 20+ Minute Jams
man, that "ItEoT" from Halloween was one of the sickest jams I heard that night.
