@Joe-Logrippo I also recorded Spafford and Brothers Gow on 8/1/2014 OC Tavern (i think the date was). I just remembered I never finished this show and need to find the files. I clamped on the ceiling just behind the light bar. Love this venue. Richard the sound guy is super friendly. Usually a board feed is either 1/4 or RCA and its just what is being fed out the PA.

If we want to really get detailed its actually 20:23, the added time after is just a break between songs. This is how I usually track my recordings

Well I am not much of a person that reviews shows in detail. My details come out in the recordings I leave that to others to be really detailed with words. With that being said, every show has that Higgs magic. I started recording them in 2013 so I got to witness the band evolve and grow up to this point. I am actually listening to the 8-3 evening show now as I type this that I also recorded and its fantastic. This performance is super elevated (imo of course) probably in part because they also played earlier that afternoon (5ea 45min acoustic sets) in Laguna Beach, CA. and were super warmed up I captured those as well but still need to master it.

I am also planning on recording The Higgs on the following dates:
2-22-2018: Cliff, Laguna Beach
2-23-2018: Dirty Penguin, Chino Hills
2-28-2018: Solana Beach, opening for Spafford
3-22-2018: Costa Mesa ( after their tour)

Los Angeles/Orangy County Area checking in.

I am planning on recording the Los Angeles Teragram Ballroom show. However, I also let Brian know in a detailed email that this venue is not taper friendly at all. I am working with the manager of Shaky Feelin' (Keith) who is also promoting the show under SpinCycle Presents to get me the OK to clamp mics up in the balcony which is also a roped off area.

New Years run to record is now/still up in the air. I do need a place to stay. Funds are extremley low. Any other tapers going that may want to split hotel room costs?

The 1st time I ever seen/recorded them live was back in 2013. I was in awe of the originals (7 at that show) and the jams. I have been hooked ever since.

@damian No worries. i just assumed you could add it to the database. I record whatever bands are at the show and so do other tapers I know.
