The Dream Jam > Catfish from Philly is certainly a great way to start a show

The Ithaca show from this tour is one of favs - the Parody > Its a Bunch > Parody is soo tight and really has a Dead type feel to it

Great points by all. I certainly wasn't trying to compare them to Phish - just wondering which song you all felt was that huge jam vehicle that everyone gets pumped for because the throw down is about to happen. ETS seemed the onbvious answer for me but LTLO and All In are also very interesting choices.

Oddly enough after inundating myself with Spaff past few weeks of tour I went to listen to Phish today and found myself just going back to the 9-29 Philly show.

@damian I've listened to it 3 or 4 times the past couple of days and can't get enough. The only thing that stinks is its impeding me from listening to other Spafford jams but I'll get to them eventually

@PhillySpaffnerd my favorite show from the tour so far is Ithaca but though I haven't listened back more than once I webcasted the BK Bowl show and really loved that 1st set. REALLY looking forward to diggin into that All my Friends (over 50 minutes according to Twitter postings)

@damian I appreciate the positive manner in which you redirect people - quite the opposite than many of the boards I've been on before. There is a welcomenesss that pervades this space and seems to start with you Damian and emanates from there - makes this a special place to visit!

@Lopez was wondering why we haven't seen this show but wasn't aware there was a story... what happened?

@603Brett no kidding - took for granted all of the nights I pushed right through and didn't sleep - if I pulled that now I would be out of commission for 2-3 days

welcome! Pretty noobish guy myself here - seems like an up and coming site with very friendly people who are fans of a fucking awesome band!

yeah I've seen Spafford three times now and its why I was disappointed to miss the Columbus show but working at 7:30AM is a lot different getting home at midnight vs 3 in the morning - not to mention the safety aspect of 3AM (I used Lyft to get home from Twiddle, would have to behave myself and drive from Spafford). Not sure how old you all are but at 41 my body doesn't react after 3 hours of sleep like it did when I was in my 20's

@603Brett I've spun that one about 10 times total. I love how it continues to the return of the Standing Outside a Phone Booth base drum and bass melody after each "exploration"

@damian I was that way when my kids were toddler age but now that they sleep late I've been able to push my time of awakening to usually 7:30-8 - 4:30-5 would equally kill me as much as the late nights

cool shirt - you may consider a 3X size as some of us bigger dudes would love one but no one wants to see my nipples shooting through the 2X

I'm in as well (Twitter) and in a very small sample size (two of my shows are opening gigs for Umphreys) there are only 2 songs I've seen more than once - ATW and Salamander which are two of my faves.
