The recording does no justice to the way their whistles sounded in that hall. It wasn’t a long show but the playing was exquisite throughout and they moved the crowd through bliss and filth and untz with a deft touch

@mdjabber I was thinking Saturday afternoon. I think most of the studios I know book in 3hr blocks starting at noon so there could be a 12-3 jam then we can all grab food and beers before heading in to rage sound check

Waiting on word from some friends about a nice studio close to the venue that could maybe do better times or something

@BadBoyJeppy Just saw that...I could see them taking September off after Festy season and then starting Fall tour in October with these shows then going up to North East and down the coast rather than up the East Coast like last years Fall tour. That'd make my dream of BK Halloween -> Philly weekend shows work out still

I think its pretty great, I definitely listened before I remember hearing the the "play something funky!" girl yelling right before Breakdown. Maybe its been mentioned in the tease thread but are you hearing a little bit of the melody for Longview in the LTLO jam from that show?

I'll have to check out Portland too I dont think ive listened. I take a break from listening for a bit when I've got shows coming up...now that I've got no shows I've been blasting through everything on nugs

@farmerlbilly thanks! I think I had it as A first and then the more I played it the D was sounding better...could actually be like an Asus4 or something. I'll have to try it out when I get a chance and see what sounds better...and also do more of the tab haha

That night was a LOT of fun. @moricle did the community a service by capturing that night, especially in light of the lack of soundboard. Glad this one didn't slip away into history.

@Andrew-Hilston I like to do the chorus/verse up top with that D on the 10/12th frets then I loop the jam starting down at the 5/7th fret D chord
