You know, when we were kids my brother used to call me "King of the Nerds." It was his term of endearment for me. I always had a pack of nerdy kids following me around as we talked about Star Trek, space, computers, and the like. It seems incredibly fitting that I now run a site called "Spaffnerds." It seems fate has quite the sense of humor.
Holy shit! I just got finished with listening to this set. It's the shit! It reminds me of the surprise that is the pizza jam. Out of the blue there's just this BEAST of a jam. These guys are living it. It's in the moment, it's the now... it's cool as a cucumber.
Go listen to this thing and cross your fingers and hope it gets a nugs release 🙂
I love me some Pizza Jam and that whole show is a gem, but this set-- after one listen-- is on yet another level for me... not because of the length but the soundscapes... OMfG
if this was the last piece of music i heard i would die grinning
One of the really cool things about the Cabin Jam is the appearances of some sections of songs within it (i.e. the starting Red's Jam). There's at least one other song that makes an appearance in Cabin Jam 2 but I don't want to give it away! It was only the second or third time the song had really been played I believe.
@Cody late yesterday it was either Weasel or All My Friends. America is up there too. I love the gritty Hendrix-ness of the intro. Today though, I’ve been really into Walls, and after listening to the 10/29/16 Leave The Light On, that could be my new favorite.
Safe to say I’m not qualified to pick a favorite yet. 😉
Oh, I also really like Legend. That’s baby making music.
